If we consider that, almost always, the majority is wrong then we are led to the conclusion that the traditional “players” are playing on a “calculated risk” basis. Few people know who W.D. Gann was. According to Wikipedia: William Delbert Gann (June 6, 1878 – June 18, 1955), or WD Gann, was a finance trader who developed the technical analysis methods like the Gann angles and the Master Charts, where the latter is a collective name for his various tools like the Spiral Chart (also called the Square of Nine), the Hexagon Chart, and the Circle of 360. Gann market forecasting methods are purportedly based on geometry, astronomy and astrology, and ancient mathematics. Opinions are sharply divided on the value and relevance of his work. Gann authored a number of books and courses on shares and commodities trading.
W.D. Gann was a member of The Astrological Society, Inc NY and the Zodiac Council also had another well-known member Walter Gorn Old ( Sepharial) reportedly Gann’s first astrology teacher. Also, according to Bill Meridian2, Charles Jayne told him that Gann employed Canadian astrologer Edward Johndro to do his sophisticated stock market planetary analysis. In his book “Tunnel through the Air” he writes: “ How do I forecast future cycles?” you may ask. In order to forecast future cycles, the most important thing is to begin right, for if we have the right beginning, we will get the proper ending. If we know the cause of the effect, then there can be no doubt about predicting the future event or effect. I have always looked for causes and when once I determine a cause I can always be sure of the effect or future event which I can predict. IT IS NOT MY AIM TO EXPLAIN THE CAUSE OF CYCLES. The image you see is W.D.Gann’s 360° circle… I believe it is quite similar to a 360° circle of classical astrology or even a 360° circle of Uranian. Through it W.D. Gann made predictions and became rich.
In this picture below I tried and placed on top of Gann’s cycle a 360o cycle of Uranian (red color) …. The resemblance is more than obvious…
