Dear friends, I greet you. The day is special and sad because the football legend Diego Maradona passed away. Diego Armando Maradona dies at the age of just 60. Maradona was a man of great talent, a big heart and a penchant for addictions. His addiction began when, at a young age, in Barcelona, he received a murder-tackling in September 1983… .The Catalans were cruising to victory at the Camp Nou when Diego Maradona was scythed down by a horrendous tackle from Basque defender, Andoni Goikoetxea – better known as the ‘Butcher of Bilbao’. It was the response of the poor Italian South (* Napoli) to the rich and blaze north (Juventus, Milan, Roma, Inter). Napoli was closer to Diego’s attitude. He was loved by the Neapolitans (* Partenopei) but he also loved Napoli with a love that we only see in Hollywood… movies.

But he gave the greatest performance of all time on 22/6/1986 in Mexico against England… A Maradona, Argentine to the bone, saw the qualification against the English as a response to the Falklands War !!!!
